~*~ Week 30 ~*~

So this week I'm 7 months along. . .2 more to go . . . 10 weeks. . . unless Logan decides to make an early appearance which I would mind as long as he's healthy :o) Pretty much the same old on how I am, Logan's just sitting really high up causing a lot of discomfort but that is to be expected I guess. Standing on my feet for long periods of time is out and I literally have to pee the second I'm done peeing. Thursday is my next appointment at the doctors office so I'll have some more information for you at that time as to how much weight I have put on and whatnot. Eric was amazing and finished putting up the chair rail in Logan's room and I love the way it looks, he just has a few finishing details on that and then he is all done on that portion at least. So the first picture is Eric workin' the nail gun. . .
And here it is. . . .

closer up. . .
I really love it an couldn't be happier! This past Saturday Eric and I took a trip to New York for my little sisters Confirmation. . . I'm so proud! It was great to see all my family and pick up some New York bagels :o) Anyways here is what is going on with Logan. . .
In Month 7 fruit/veggie stats. . .

On my other site Logan is about the size of cabbage. . . he is around 3 pounds and 15 3/4 inches in length.

Internally Logan is swimming around in about a pint and a half of amniotic fluid and he can distinguish light from dark. . . at birth his vision will be 20/400 meaning he will only be able to see objects a few inches from his face. My still growing uterus will start to throw off my balance. . . great!

And the belly picture. . .

And from my litter sisters confirmation a picture of me and my Oma. . .soon to be Great Oma :o)

~*~ Week 29~*~

So pregnancy brain has gotten a hold of me and I am constantly forgetting things. . . like telling you guys that I passed my Glucose test! Thank god because that drink really is something awful. They hand you this disgusting orange drink and say suck this down in 5 minutes. I had my wonderful husband there with me who took a lot of joy in telling me there was 2 drops left and make sure I drink it all. Honestly I think the husbands should have to go through some of the testing too. I mean I have to go to the doctor every other week now. . .get poked and prodded and what does he have to do. . . . NOTHING! So frustrating. Anyways. . . I went to the doctor last week I have officially gained 30 pounds (I'm wincing right now) but everything looks good. The only not good thing is they have found that I am anemic, which means my iron is low but I've had that for a long time so I'm on an iron supplement in addition to the prenatal pills. So far this week Logan is sitting high up causing very painful heartburn and all around discomfort. Also my shoes weren't fitting so a very good friend of mine Brandie came for a little visit and took me shoe shopping. . . I got two pairs hopefully those will last me a while but I went up a half a shoe size (depressing much?). All I can do about that is pray that they go back to my old size after the pregnancy! But for good news still no stretch marks and my belly piercing is still open YAY!! :o) Well on to Logan. . . .

This week Logan is the size of a butternut squash. He is about 15 inches head to heal and around 2 1/2 pounds.
Internally Logan's bones are now hardening, his head is getting larger to accommodate his brain which is growing and for me if I lay on my back it may cause dizziness since my growing uterus is putting pressure on all of my veins.

Belly picture. . . I love this maternity shirt the blue is so pretty :o)

~*~ Week 28 ~*~

It's official. . . the third trimester is here! But with it has brought the fun times of swelling up to the point that your shoes don't fit and your wedding ring is strangling your finger. Other than that Logan has a habit of pushing on my sciatic nerve causing a bit of pain. For the good news still (knock on wood) no stretch marks. Other than that its business as usual. . . heart burn, back pain, neck pain. . .yadda yadda yadda. Sticking with only maternity clothes really now I'll prob. have to go soon to pick up some more clothes since my darling hubby has to wash my laundry like every other day since my clothes are somewhat limited. Logan kicks around from time to time. . . that never gets old but Eric has still yet to feel a single kick :o(
This week Logan is the size of Chinese cabbage. . . 2 1/4 pounds and about 15 inches long.

Internally Logan has eye lashes and he will turn his head towards continuous light entering the womb. His movements are more regular and I will start counting kicks and I will keep you posted on how that goes. Logan is also developing layers of fat which he will draw energy from.

Belly picture! Bigger and bigger every week. . .

~*~ Week 27 ~*~

Day by day is how I have taken my journey and here I am at week 27! I only have 13 weeks to go. So this weekend was Easter and my family came all the way up from New York to spend it with me and my love :o) Everything turned out great but boy is my kitchen way too small to accommodate me, my husband, my mother, and my Oma all at the same time. Ugh. . . .that was very challenging. Unfortunately Logan decided to nap the entire day so he didn't move around for the family :o( I'm really starting to think he is shy. One development of the day was I had asked my little sister Maria to be Logan's Godmother. I have a lot of close women in my life but for my first born I felt it only fitting that my lil sis do the honors. . . we are totally having more than one kid so beware. . . Anyways, I don't really have much to report. I'm still sticking w/ maternity clothes over regular clothes, no stretch marks, heart burn still going strong, peeing often. . . very often. Today was beautiful so I attempted to jog a little when I took pepper for a walk. . .lets say I couldn't jog far but I was very proud of myself for the effort. Well on to the stats on Logan. . .
This week Logan is about the size of a head of Cauliflower. He weighs about 2 pounds and is 14 1/2 inches.

Internally, my uterus is putting pressure on the nerves in my back which can cause my legs to go numb. . . yup I've been experiencing that one. Logan may now be learning the habit of sucking his fingers and he may also experience hiccups from time to time. He can open and close his eyes and he sleeps in regular intervals.

And the belly picture. . . Now that the weather is beautiful the maternity tank tops are out in full force and I think I may hit up the maternity store again for some capris!
