*~* Week 8 *~*

So on Monday November 23, Eric and I had our first Doctor's appointment. So far everything is great the baby and I are healthy. I also received my big list of things to eat and not eat. . . things to do and not do. . .ect. . . . Although I have been very sick I have still managed to gain 5 pounds. I also got my H1N1 shot and they took like 8 vials of blood. . .jeeze can I keep some for myself? lol Well seeing the baby for the first time was an experience like nothing else. It was almost like an out of body experience watching the screen. I've always dreamed what that would be like but actually living it is something else entirely. Then you see the flicker of the baby's heart and hear that fast beat its like nothing else. To love someone so much already that I haven't met is something so special. So the following 2 pictures are from our first sonogram. . .

At week 8 the baby is about the size of a raspberry. . .

So yes I do realize that I am a little late on my posts but I really had no idea what I was getting into with this whole nausea thing. It really shouldn't be called morning sickness if it lasts all day. That title is very misleading! Ok back to topic so at week 7 the baby is about the size of a blueberry. . .

So this post comes just a little late since nausea and vomiting has now taken over my life. Week 6 so far has been a rough one for me and I'm just hoping this doesn't last forever, and I know that my husband feels the same way (since I've been driving him crazy running around getting me stuff). So here it is my belly pic. . .

So here is how big the baby is, its about the size of a sweet pea! It's getting so big so fast :o)

My First Belly Pic ~~Week 5~~

So here I am at week 5 as my husband kept saying. . . "Here is Jessica not showing". I look the same but I feel very different. From being hungry to wanting tons of sleep the changes have begun.

Baby Names

Baby names. . . a fun, stressful, compromise filled topic. When two people have to come together and pick a name that will help shape a person life it is never easy. For a girl my husband likes the name I've wanted for about 7 years now which is Bella and I like Marie as the middle name. Since Bella means beautiful in Italian and my husband is Italian he has agreed with no argument.

Now on the other hand boys names are another story. Everything that I like seems to draw opposition. . .Aiden, Hayden, Maddox. . . So now we have a few that we are looking at although I know that we will continue to look probably right up until the baby arrives. So in the running at the moment is Austin, Blake, Eli, Alexander, and Logan. (I think Logan is in the lead). This is such a fun and exciting time!
